Open Question: Is becoming a CNA and HHA a waste of time?

I'm currently going to school to become a nurse but I have to apply for the program and then get in... I have to apply in October so either way for Fall semester I'll be out of school and there is a place offering a CNA & HHA program where I can take both for $955...
