Juror # 2 speaks!

Juror No. 2 remembers when he sat down with his fellow jurors on Monday. Finally, they could talk about the trial that had consumed six weeks of their lives. Finally, those in the jury room could ask themselves the question the rest of the world wanted answered:
Was Casey Anthony guilty of first-degree murder?
Everybody agreed if we were going fully on feelings and emotions, she was done.
But the 12 jurors decided they didn't want to go on just feeling. *THEY STILL FOUND HER GUILTY WITH THE EVIDENCE THAT WAS THERE!!!!!*
We just wanted to go on the evidence that was presented to us.  But there just wasn't enough evidence to convict the mother of murder I just swear to God …,I wish we had more evidence to put her away. I truly do …But it wasn't there.

He said it was not an easy decision to make. It was the only decision they could make given the evidence presented to them. *I don't even want to hear how he feels sorry! After the backlash they all now feel sorry!?*
She is not a good person in my opinion

He is married, a father of two: a 9-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl. He works in information technology. He was one of two black jurors on the panel.

After finding Casey Anthony guilty of four counts of lying to law enforcement "A gimme"  , they discussed the most serious charge: first-degree murder. There are only two sentences: life in prison without parole or death by lethal injection.
But the only forensic evidence was possible signs of human decomposition in Casey's trunk, and the child's decomposed remains found six months later.
The first vote was 10-2 against first-degree murder.
"We didn't know how she died, we didn't know when she died.Technically, we didn't even know where she died.
You couldn't say who did it. To me, that's why it was aggravated manslaughter of a child.
That was the next charge the jury could have found 25-year-old Casey Anthony guilty of. It carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison. He believed Casey was guilty of "culpable negligence" as required of that charge. He wasn't alone.
The vote on Tuesday was 6-6 for manslaughter. The two sides hardened. They started talking over one another. The jury foreman calmed them all down.
The jury didn't believe anything George Casey said on the stand.
But more importantly to the jurors who opposed the manslaughter charge, no one could say who was Caylee's caretaker —Casey or George and Cindy — when the child actually died.
The six that voted guilty said it didn't matter at what point in time she came home and found out her daughter was missing. She had to report it in some way, shape or form, and that's where the negligence came in.
But some jurors, he said, had decided not to convict Casey Anthony of any charge in the girl's death. By lunch Tuesday, the guilty side started to lose votes.
Juror No. 2 was the last holdout. Deliberations lasted for 11 hours over two days. They filed into court at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday to hand over their verdict.
We truly don't know what happened. Somebody knows, but we don't know.

This is infuriating to me that people were able to convince these jurors that they would be doing the right thing if they give a Not Guilty!

Juror # 3 Speaks!!!!!

Jennifer Ford, or juror No. 3, has finally spoken out. Guess she wants to soften the hit from the mob that will probably go after her!  She says the jurors were "sick to their stomachs" after voting to not convict Anthony in connection with the death of her daughter.  *Then why do it!!!!!???? *
Ford, a 32-year-old nursing student, told ABC News in an exclusive interview that she didn't think there was enough evidence to convict Anthony.  I did not say she was innocent. She says they didn't have proof of the crime! Everyone wonders why we didn't speak to the media right away. *Hmmmm? I wonder why!!!???  It was because we were sick to our stomach to get that verdict. We were crying and not just the women. It was emotional and we weren't ready. We wanted to do it with integrity and not contribute to the sensationalism of the trial.Ford is single, has no children and is the youngest of five siblings. She said during jury selection she didn't know about the case until recently.

This woman will certainly be judged by her peers!!!!! I can only hope that people around her will make her feel this for the rest of her life and that she knows that she was part of a great injustice to this world!!!!!!
UPDATE: Her family was taken by ABC to Disney World!!!!! Her nieces and nephews enjoyed themselves all so a BEAST can be set free!

After reading these comments, I wish there was a way she could see this and know that other people out there are furious at her for her part in this horrible decision!

Alternate Juror #14 speaks!

Russell Huekler wasn't one of the 12 people who decided Casey Anthony's fate but sat in the same Orlando courtroom as an alternate juror.
Speaking outside his St. Petersburg home, Huekler, 51, said he agreed with the not guilty verdict.
The prosecution didn't provide the evidence that was there for any of the charges from first-degree murder down to second-degree murder to the child abuse to even the manslaughter (charge). It just wasn't there. I would say this is a dysfunctional family that's hurting and because it was so dysfunctional that's the way they dealt with their issues and problems. It's a shame because it was an accident that became a murder scene. He said it appeared the Anthony family didn't know how to deal with a "horrific accident" and that he believed that Casey's father, George, was "hiding something."
It was his first time serving on a jury. Huekler teaches U.S. government at Pinellas Park High School. He plans to spend the next week relaxing and spending some time with his wife and dogs.
Of the five alternate jurors, only two released their names to the media. Alternate Juror # 16 was identified as 25-year-old Dean Edward Eckstadt, a carpenter from Palm Harbor. His family couldn't believe the verdict either. He has yet to speak to media and has yet to arrive home.
The 12 jurors did not speak immediately following the verdict.Their names have been sealed at the moment.

And this is who they helped!

Not Guilty: The aftershock!

Before we can even get over the shock of it all, the defense was already in the media room talking to reporters.  http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/2011/07/05/exp.HLNcaseyanthonyverdict.hln
Dorothy Sims says thank you. The defense has been crying and they all announce their names.   Mason says he hopes this is a lesson to those who have speculated and says he is ashamed of attorneys who went on TV and talked trash. JB: Casey did not murder Caylee. It's that simple.  He said he's happy for Casey but there are "no winners" in this case. Caylee  "passed on" far too soon.  Baez complimented Linda Drane Burdick, Frank George, called Ashton a "fierce" opponent.  Baez expressed disapproval for death penalty.  He thanked Cheney Mason for taking him under his wing.  Baez said he hopes people learn you can not convict someone till they have their day in court. Frye nodded her head in agreement.  He says he can't wait to tell his daughter "He helped save a life" when she asks him what did he do today.  Baez in Spanish: 'A mi madre que me esta mirando en este momento...te amo mami.' Translation of what Baez said in Spanish: 'And to my mom who is watching me now...I love you mom.'

All I can say is now it's in God's hands. OJ Simpson was found Not Guilty and eventually he got what he truly deserved. Well, whatever God thinks should happen to Casey, will happen.

Neither the 12 and alternate jurors do not want to talk to media.  Guess they are afraid of the mob!  They will be transported to Pinellas County tonight.   The jurors are each given a packet of media offers to do interviews and can decide on their own.  Those jurors will be attacked as soon as they get home tonight. I can't believe the child welfare juror broke out in tears! YOU THOUGHT SHE WAS NOT GUILTY?

Casey is back at the Orange County Jail's Female Detention Center. She remains in protective custody status as before.

State Attorney Lawson Lamar
I promised we would do our talking in court. We did.  For us, case has always been about Caylee and speaking on her behalf.  We think justice best served when counsel doesn't make public statements but in courtroom instead.  This trial team is world class and in command of the evidence. Did it skillfully and without histrionics.

Orange County Sheriff Demmings
Acknowledges his investigative team. Men & women have died to protect rights of others like us. For 3 long yrs, citizens of Orange County have been seeking justice for Caylee.  Acknowledges agencies and personnel that helped in search for Caylee, the case, etc.  I could not be any more proud of the performance of my staff, throughout the investigation and the trial.  We ask our community to respect the decision the jury and court have made today.  Demmings asks that there not be any civil disobedience as there has been in other cases. Maintain peaceful resolve.
Lawson Lamar again: Grateful to attorneys/staff who put case on. Linda Drane Burdick brought a precision case, Jeff Ashton wonderful, science, owe them much. Also thanked individual folks from sheriff's office, FBI, Texas Equusearch etc. for help.   Medical Examiner's office is world class and Dr G did her usual outstanding work.  Tomorrow, my team go back to work like they do every day, to work on 140 other murders (11 kids) in Orange County.  The delay in recovering little Caylee's remains worked to our severe disadvantage. Disappointed in verdict, but I never criticize a jury. Dry-bones cases very difficult to prove.   Our mountain of evidence did not alleviate reasonable doubt for jurors.  This is justice in America. We go forward to fight again tomorrow.

Now all I can say is that the Prosecution go after Cindy Anthony for perjury!  According to reports, there are plans to get the beast ...ahem...Casey away from here (Florida) where she is severely hated. Reports are that she may go to the West Coast.   The defense went to celebrate at a restaurant downtown.  At the end of the day maybe this is what Caylee would have wanted.
                                             RIP CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY 2005-2008
