Casey must be back in Orlando by Aug. 26!

Casey Anthony WILL SERVE  probation for one year for her check-fraud convictions, and has to report to the Department of Corrections no later than Aug. 26,  Judge Belvin Perry ruled today.Casey's address can remain confidential because of safety concerns.

Perry heard arguments last week from Anthony's defense team, who said she already served probation and shouldn't have to serve it again.
In his order, Perry said it is clear Anthony's probation was to start once she was released from jail. He said Strickland had the ability to correct what amounted to a clerical error.
Perry said there was no double jeopardy issue because Casey couldn't comply with the standard 13 conditions of probation while she was in jail.
"To permit the Defendant, whose counsel was well aware that the probation was to begin upon the Defendant's release from jail, to avoid serving probation now, would take a lawfully imposed sentence and make it a mockery of justice," he wrote. "This would allow a defendant to take advantage of a scrivener's error and be rewarded. This is not the message the courts want to send to the public or defendants."
During last week's hearing, he asked the defense if they knew about the probation being served in jail. Defense attorney Lisabeth Fryer admitted that they did, but said it wasn't the defense's burden to notify the court about it.
Perry took up that issue in his order as well, stating that attorneys have "a duty of candor."
"While ignorance of the contents of a court order is one thing, the failure to abide by that order and the failure to notify the court of a known scrivener's error in the order may be a violation of an attorney's duty of candor," Perry wrote. "To additionally seek to use a scrivener's error to achieve an end that was against the court's intent, especially where both parties had argued the issue of when probation should commence, strikes at the very foundation of our justice system."
Perry continued, "No attorney should conduct himself or herself in a way that impedes an order of the court.…Our system of justice should never be in the position of rewarding someone who willfully hides the ball."
Perry included a portion of the Florida Bar's rules of professional conduct in his order.
"It is very clear that the Defendant and her attorney knew she was to start her probation upon release from the Orange County Jail. Despite this fact, they took advantage of a scrivener's error which start the probation while she was being held in the jail pending trial. The defense should not be able to claim that they are now harmed by having the Defendant serve probation at this time."

Perry noted in his order that Anthony's safety is a concern, and referenced an Orlando Sentinel article about a poll that referred to Anthony as America's most-hated person.
"This Court is very mindful that it is a high probability that there are many that would like to see physical harm visited upon the Defendant."
Perry ordered Anthony to report to the Department of Corrections no later than 12 p.m. Aug. 26, but she could report earlier. Her probation will begin the day she reports.

Wow! I wonder if Baez or anyone else from the defense were prepared for this ruling! I wonder if anybody out there needs a nanny or sitter!
Seriously though, who is going to hire her. Maybe a strip bar. That's probably the only thing she will be able to do. Doubtful she will find any Walmart to hire her.

Cindy and George release balloons at Caylee site

Cindy and George were among the people commemorating Caylee on her 6th birthday. The couple surprised the groups that showed up at the memorial site, with pink, purple and white balloons that they were planning on releasing along with butterflies.
They were there as well as a non profit group that are in the process of buying the site and are planning a memorial to be built there in honor of Caylee and other kids.  The Bring Kids Home organization unveiled the design of the memorial they hope will be a permanent reminder of Caylee and other missing and abused children.
The group plans to raise the $200,000 needed to build the memorial through donations given by people.
While at the memorial, George and Cindy spoke to the media. They spoke in favor of the memorial, even though the organizer had no idea that they were going to show up.
When asked if they had seen Casey, George replied "no," while Cindy said they couldn't talk about that. "We didn't know how we'd be perceived," George Anthony said. "It's just a great tribute to our Caylee. It's a great tribute to her. Other children have to come home, too. And that's what should be concentrated on now. We know where Caylee's at."

The designer of the memorial hopes to have money raised and memorial done by this time next year.
Anthony family attorney Mark Lippman said he is familiar with the memorial and is looking at whether or not the Anthony's will be a part of it.

Dying Man's message from God.

Interesting video that my friend posted on Facebook.  He describes hell and what to put your faith in. He died a few hours after this was made:

Happy 6th Birthday Caylee!

Today it is rainy and stormy in Central Florida. Much like it had been during the length of the Casey Anthony trail and the way it was the day that Casey was found Not Guilty.  Today Caylee Marie Anthony turned 6 years old.  She would have been entering the first grade in a couple of weeks.
This is the first time that Casey will not be in jail during Caylee's birthday and not "searching" for her as well. Supposedly now she is in a $5.2 million mansion in California hiding out at the moment. Guess she left Ohio since the pics were released. I'm wondering whether we will see a citing of her or the Anthony's today. Any photo ops?  Today in Central Florida we will also be seeing the unveiling of the plans for Caylee and for missing children that is planning on being built in the location where Caylee's remains were found.
Candles will be lit for Caylee tonight in memory of her as well as the changing of profile pics today on Facebook.
We wish you a Happy 6th Birthday Caylee Marie. May you rest in peace.
The following is a poem that I found online that was written for Caylee last year on her fifth birthday:

Happy Birthday angel eyes.
the candles of your cake are the stars in the skies.
you should have been getting ready to start in school.
instead of your family trying to play us for fools.
learning to write and ride a bike.
what else would you have liked?
not a day goes by when we don't all think
of how you were gone in just a blink.
what would have been better for us to see.
is for you to have won the national spelling bee.
so have fun in the clouds on your special day.
and let your spirit find us justice for you one day.
Happy Birthday Caylee

Arrested for stealing coupons!

Police in Springdale say the popularity of coupons led a Northwest Arkansas woman to steal 185 editions of a Sunday newspaper.
The Springdale Morning News reports that Jamie VanSickler, 34, of Lowell, was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor theft. She told officers she is a member of a coupon club and said she didn't think she was doing anything wrong.Police said she took unsold copies of the Springdale Morning News that were left outside a grocery store for the newspaper carrier to pick up and return to the paper. VanSickler released a statement through her attorney Friday afternoon. VanSicker's attorney, Alanna Fairrell said in a statement Friday that "Mrs. VanSickler is shocked and embarrassed by the whole situation, since she obtained permission from Harps prior to taking any newspapers, and she was just trying to save some money. She is also very disappointed that the newspaper went public with this story and has decided to press charges against her although she offered to pay for the newspapers she took."

So I know this is a big thing going on, especially in our great economic situation we are in now. I want to know what are you guys doing to save some $? Any extreme couponers out there? I would love to save the big bucks like some of those people who do this.  I would love to hear some feedback. Maybe I can write a blog about some tips!

Devastation in Ohio

A family argument in Ohio ended in eight people being shot dead in two places, including an 11-year-old boy and two more people were wounded, say authorities.
Five people were killed in one location, then two more were killed nearby before police killed the gunman.
The shootings happened in a wooded, residential neighbourhood of older homes outside Akron, Copley Township officers said.
Jeff Kirby of nearby Norton said he was visiting his mother's home not far from the shootings at mid-morning when he heard gunfire – about 15 shots with several pauses between them.
Kirby, 53, said the last gunfire he heard occurred about the same time he heard sirens in the neighbourhood.
Cops in Copley, Ohio, said on Monday the shooter was Michael Hance, 51.  Police were still investigating a motive, but one neighborhood woman said Hance was feuding with Becky Dieter, his girlfriend,  over her late parents' will.
At 11:00 am on Sunday,  Hance shot Dieter, then went to a neighboring home and shot her brother, along with four others, police said. This led to a chase through several backyards and at least one other home that left two more people dead, police said.
A neighbor who was trying to talk to neighbors on her front porch was also shot when Hance, walked in back of her and shot her.  Neighbors  Russ Johnson, 67, and his wife, Gerdie, 64, who were also involved with the issues involving the will were among those shot dead.  Neighbors said at least two of the victims were local high school students.

Copley is a town of about 14,000 people outside Akron in northeast Ohio.
