Casey's reaction will be released
Judge Belvin Perry has granted a motion to unseal a videotape in the Casey Anthony case.
That video shows Casey Anthony’s reaction to learning remains of her daughter Caylee were found. Stan Strickland, the former judge in the case, ordered it to be sealed.

The jail video, as the Court has previously recognized, is a public record subject to disclosure under Chapter 119. The reason for sealing it - Ms. Anthony's right to a fair trial - is no longer applicable because the trial has been completed and she has been acquitted of all charges other than lying to law enforcement officers.

Jesse Holland y Andy Mitton dirigen y firman el guión de este film de terror con aspiraciones pseudos-filosóficas…
“YellowBrickRoad”, nos ubica en Friar New Hampshire, una población donde, en 1940, todos sus habitantes se reunieron para partir caminando por un sendero que se internaba en lo más profundo de los bosques adyacentes al pueblo. No se llevaron nada, ni dinero, ni pertenecia alguna, incluso sus mascotas quedaron abandonadas… y jamás regresaron. Grupos de búsqueda hallaron cientos de cadáveres, unos habían perecido de frío, otros habían sido claramente torturados y asesinados… y otros tantos permanecen desaparecidos. A raíz de este funesto acontecimiento, las leyendas en torno a esta población y sus bosques no tardan en crecer sin mesura… y en 2008 un equipo de investigación decide tomar el “camino de baldosas amarillas” del título, adentrarse en los bosques y tratar de descubrir qué ocurrió realmente…
La premisa argumental de la película es altamente interesante, y atrapa al espectador durante la primera media hora de metraje, llenándolo de interrogantes, planteándole nuevas y sobrenaturales incógnitas una vez que comienza el viaje y descubrimientos de los protagonistas… Pero a partir del primer hecho violento comienza a desinflarse y el interés cede al sopor y al soberano aburrimiento. El guión, lleno de trampas y vacíos, gira y gira sobre sí mismo, saltando, de una amena película de terror, a una propuesta metafísica-filosófica que pierde absolutamente al espectador en sus inexpugnables recovecos.
Un film fallido, con una gran propuesta de partida que bien podía haber aprovechado para regalar, pese a sus escasos medios, una buena película de terror psicológico/sobrenatural y que, en lugar de ello, prefiere navegar por una pretenciosa producción pseudofilosófica, una lástima, un aburrimiento. A evitar.

Vampires
El director Vincent Lannoo (“Ordinary Man”, “Strass”) dirige y co-escribe (con Frédérique Broos) el guión de esta atípica enésima visita al mundo de los vampiros.
En esta ocasión el formato de la cinta es de falso documental. En ella conoceremos gracias a un equipo televisivo a una familia de vampiros belgas (interpretados por Paul Ahmarani, Julián Doré, Carlo Ferrante, Alexandra Kamp-Groeneveld…), un matrimonio con dos hijos, y su estilo de vida, amigos, actividades, régimen alimentario (sangre de inmigrantes ilegales que guardan en su corral del jardín)… así como los problemas que la adolescencia vampírica de los jóvenes provoca y el exilio que puede suponer el quebrar las estrictas reglas de su mundo.
En una época histórica en que el mundo de los vampiros en el cine está en un punto álgido y estos se edulcoran, se cargan de glamour y mágicos poderes, aquellos que nos dibuja Vincent Lannoo son mucho más mundanos, decadentes y autoparódicos, un contrapunto altamente interesante a las familias “crepusculares” chupasanges a los que estamos acostumbrados.
El falso documental pretende, a través de sus sobrenaturales protagonistas, realizar una ácida crítica social y pone en evidencia, con las aventuras de los no-muertos lo más bajo de los vivos, el ser humano, lo que le da una trascendencia más allá de la pura carcajada y entretenimiento.
No obstante el conjunto no llega a convencer del todo, se queda a medio camino de la crítica, a medio camino de la parodia, a medio camino del drama, de la comedia… resulta, una vez visionada, interesante pero mucho menos arriesgada de lo que cabía esperar, y eso le pasa factura frente al tipo de espectador que enfrenta una película de estas características.

Southwest says no to Lesbians and baggy pants!
Leisha Hailey, a musician and television actor was thrown off her flight in El Paso, Texas, this week after she kissed her girlfriend and bandmate, Camila Grey, in the seat next to her.
A cabin crew member, apparently responding to a passenger complaint, told Hailey that Southwest was a "family airline" and asked her to stop. By the time Hailey and Grey had stopped swearing and cursing, they were back in the airport, waiting for the next flight.
Southwest later insisted the problem was the abusive language, not the kiss. "The conversation escalated to a level that was better resolved on the ground, as opposed to in flight," it said.
After days of incensed reaction from Hailey, her friends and the lesbian and gay community, however, Southwest backtracked, saying it was offering a full refund for the flight and had "reached out to extend goodwill" – a form of words that fell just short of an outright apology.
Earlier this month, the lead singer of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong, was escorted off another Southwest flight in California because he refused to pull up his sagging trousers when asked. "Don't you have better things to do than worry about that?" he retorted. The flight attendant responded: "Pull your pants up or you're getting off the plane."
Armstrong complained, loudly, after he and his companion were taken back to the airport, and Southwest ended up apologizing.
He was luckier than Deshon Marman, a college American football player who suffered his own baggy trouser incident on a US Airways flight in June. He ended up in handcuffs, under arrest and charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer. The charges were later dropped, and Marman is now suing the airline.
Kevin Smith, the film director was thrown off a flight, in February last year supposedly because he was too fat. Southwest, once again, offered "heartfelt apologies" but also said he had been removed "for the safety and comfort of all customers".
